  1. International Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Day or World MSME Day is observed every year on 27 June across the world to highlight the significance of MSMEs and how they play a crucial role in being the backbone of the country’s economy. In India, the theme of MSME Day 2023 is “Future-ready MSMEs for India@100”. 
  2. Renowned Indian singer and composer Shankar Mahadevan has been granted an honorary doctorate by Birmingham City University (BCU) in England.
